This collection is hand-tufted in India and GoodWeave-certified, ensuring our commitment to ethical production and the support of weavers’ communities. Some shedding is expected and a natural characteristic of wool rugs; we recommend vacuuming frequently without a beater bar.

Clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean, white dry sponge or cloth. Professional cleaning recommended. Appropriate rug pad is highly recommended on all surfaces to prevent slipping, add cushion, and improve durability. Expect shedding. Vacuum regularly. For vacuuming, use a vacuum cleaner without a beater bar or one where you can set the bar to the highest pile setting. If your vacuum has variable power settings, set on low. Vacuum the full length of the rug, turn and repeat to the next area, rather than back and forth motion.

We don’t carry disposable rugs. If a rug sheds excessively, wrinkles, resists cleaning, or won’t hold its own alongside your investment furniture, it doesn’t make the cut.

Our secret cleaning hack.
Most of our natural fiber rugs respond beautifully to soaking in hydrogen peroxide and dabbing with a paper towel to remove stains like pet spills, chocolate, spaghetti sauce, etc. Many can even be refreshed outdoors when needed. When in doubt — just ask. We’re happy to guide you on care with more specifics than the care label gives you.
